Lol sorry that was really random. It was from some song I was teaching my music kiddy how to play this afternoon. I'm such a sloth.

School has somewhat started for me, but I'm not ready for it yet :( Have not psyche myself up for school, I'm still feeling nua all over and I've yet to clear up the mess in my room, throw away my JC notes etc etc. Bah.

Yesterday we had our Inaug which was nothing much really. I was struggling to stay awake throughout some parts (such lethargy from staying up late doing nothing...) but it was nice seeing familiar faces around. They tried to trick us with a fake lecture but no one really bought that anyway.

I really enjoyed FOP last weekend. Haha and I bravely drove there and got lost at Kallang after the session. What an adventurous night. Grr I think I have partial night blindness or something, I can't see the roads properly at night! It was how embarrassing, you know, I was lost with a urmm GPS (!!!) Maybe because the roads changed due to the many many constructions so the GPS kinda failed me. Ok excuses, I know. But it wasn't too bad, luckily we found our way to Macs drive-through and had food to accompany us through the ride :D

Talking about food, met up with Jill and Gaia for some good food at Adam today. And I gave them rides in my yellow van. Was it fun was it fun? Hahaha. And Jill, many many thankies for your donuts! They're damn gooooood!

Tomorrow my parents are gonna go for a holiday so I'll be home alone (which is fine for me actually) and they ask me not to drive because there'll be no one to handle stuff if I get into accidents or something (not that I'm very prone to getting into them anyway). So ok lor.

Ok shall sleep (relatively) early today. Need to tune my body clock back..

Flag yesterday at Changkat Changi Sec (LOL) was quite fun, better than what I expected - the kids were so responsive and receptive to the skit and the other activities. And some of them are soo cute, though not as cute as those in our LOVE Camp heh.

After which we went Holland V for dinner and some drinks, um actually beers (not exactly my favourite though). Got chased downstairs by the people at Walawala because we girls weren't 20 (since when did they have this age limit for upstairs!) We went up eventually anyway and listened to some guy slaughter many of our favourite songs. Harsh music critics we were, but we all agreed that whatever music it is, it must have feeling. Say that in a honky accent and you have our pet phrase (or not) for the night.

Other than that I've been bumming around at home with the TV, sometimes thinking, sometimes feeling sorry for the lack of certain things in my life, sometimes reading to geer myself up for school. Now I'm going to be determined to change some stuff.. no way am I going to look back 5 years later and bitch about everything I could and had not done.

And about my driving, it's getting pretty fun. I thought I was jinxed at the J8 carpark, but today I successfully cleared everything. Went to Thomson Plaza to pick up some books for my music kiddies and everything was fun and fine. Last stop of the day - I drove to my tutee's condo and he got a shock that I actually made it there in one piece. Both my tuition classes today were enjoyable (maybe because I'm getting my pay this week). I'm in such a good mood today it's unbelieveable.

Ok and I'm really hungry :\

Ok whee my brother left for Stockholm last night, I hope he'll have a good time there. Meanwhile he left me the kangoo (with lotsa bird droppings) to drive around, Donut (my chincilla) and other random duties like cleaning up Donut's cage which I've just done :\

So yesterday I hit the roads ALONE for the first time! Picked up Ger (at the RJ bus stop HAHA) and headed back to RJ to take a look (but they were having a holiday, to celebrate their Good CCA Achievements, man of all days yesterday!!) so we drove to J8 and went bugis shortly after. I think I was very brave to drive so far out. Today I was very brave too, I drove to J8 again to return my overdued (garrggh) library book and to somewhere in Holland Rd to teach. I was running late because I drove on another flyover (I was enjoying the smooth traffic AHA) by mistake. Then the lots right outside my music studio were all parallel parking lots so I thought die, I sure take damn long to park. But I managed to park within a minute because I had the last (the one right at the back) lot to myself when I reached there, so I just slotted in! lucky lucky day! But later some idiot parked SOO CLOSE behind me even though there's no lot and I had such a hard time getting out GRR, nobody to help me see how much to reverse yar. If I weren't so careful I would have taken one of your headlights back with me grr.



Us in the car and my not-so-bad parking! I'm starting to get the hang of vertical parking w/o poles lol.

Ok that's about all my Adventures on the Road HEHE. I'm thinking of going town tomorrow but I don't think I will be driving, don't want to get sick of it so soon. And it's quite tiring..

hmm so mom and dad have gotten the keys to our new house, went there last night to check it out for my very first time. ok it's not very big but it's just nice for 4 of us. one thing i liked about the house is the toilets (how queer but yes) - the design of the sink, tap and shower is really cool.

and my dad is the best! he's the least anal about my driving, he is fine with leaving me to drive out on my own when my bro is not around (he's leaving for exchange on Mon, how soon). he says i should just go drive around and try. my mom on the other hand cannot imagine me taking the wheel and she keeps going "you can drive already mehh" every now and then -__-

man, of course i'm kayu sometimes. i only started learning in april so technically, i have only been driving for 4 mths! give me some time :\

okay and no, i'm not looking forward to school in aug :(

i like bumming around.

Went back to NY for the concert last Fri! A long overdued post I know lol but I have to say YANYUN I'M SO GLAD YOU CAME BACK. We laughed non-stop throughout the entire night the juniors, the new teacher IC (thanks to yanyun who wanted to lie down on the floor in the bandroom HAHA) and everyone else thought we were mad!

Another thing!!! This is soo much of a coincidence.. the 2nd girl from the left in the first row is Chuanen's sister!!! I'M NOT KIDDING LOL. I saw him at NY Audi that night also omg.

hmm i have no idea why i actually felt busy over the week when im doing nothing. just too many little things piling up at the remaining weeks of my holidays. school is starting too soon, but i want to bum around somemore :(

today went to BTC for Flag, and spent my entire day there doing up the skit and whatnots. after which we (in quite random fashion) all left for island creamery and started yakking away over a few scoops of ice-cream. some people left halfway while we continued to stay there till it was about to close. so we were there for about umm..wow 4 hours odd? so by then only shuying, janine, me, issac, gabriel and yunhui were left.

talked about school mainly and it was all quite funny to hear from the yr2s. i particularly liked what issac said about how law school is like a city that is sieged. people who are outside cant wait to get in and people who are inside cant wait to get out. when we heard that, we all paused for a while (to marvel or just lagging?) and thought that was a pretty good analogy.

yeaa then we were driven to upp bkt timah for supper and more yakking till late 12ish. cabbed back and im totally zonked out. zz

i met up with celeste for lunch at bishan today (hip place hurhur), haven't met up with her proper ever since we went to jc! that's two years! but its amazing that we can understand each other's thoughts and problems despite that. everytime she says something, i would be going 'YAR my sentiments exactly!' yay thank God for such a friend. celeste, have fun in taiwan! oh and if you're reading this, i remembered that heerens has this shop that has loads of those umm.. postboy caps. (i can't remember how you called them sorry!)

hi everyone! i'm posting here again because i dont like the way i sound on the other. (aiyah i think i just write badly in public entries)

ok anyway, i can't believe i'm halfway through 2007. 6 months of holiday just whizzed past. to think i was looking soo forward to it last year. other than the working part, the rest had been good. let's see..

1. i got a new phone!
2. i pass my driving test on 1st attempt!!
3. i got into the course i wanted in university
4. had great friends, great fellowship, great company

hehe. hope everyone else is having a great time too!

i had a good time catching up with my two (and only HAHA) friends at cafe iguana last friday. the house margaritas are <3 (happeee hour!) but i cant really appreciate mexican food. oh dear i'm such a junk foodie. anyway we ordered a jug and we had such a great time drinking that two of them got a little woozy at some point and started talking nonsense, like real nonsense.
